Join us in kicking off our celebration of Women’s History Month with Academy Award winning micro documentary screening of Period. End of Sentence.(27min) and Long Line of Ladies (22 min) by Director Rayka Zehtabchi.
A journey from isolation to celebration, International Human Rights curates for us a film journey to learn the about the opportunities for women’s workforce development, elevation and empowerment with The Pad Project following the story of a group of village women in northern India to de-stigmatize menstruation and celebration of a young woman’s coming of age told through the lens of the Indigenous Karuk Tribe preparations for ‘Flower Dance’ Ceremony.
International Human Rights will share about their work amplifying women in this space in NYC this month at the CSW68 Forum which connects global stakeholders, policymakers, and non governmental organizations to the official United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.
